Krikelis Dimitrios
Dimitrios Krikelis, MD, PhD, is a Medical Oncologist with over 20 years of experience spanning clinical oncology, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Development across Europe and internationally. He currently serves as Head of Medical Affairs Oncology at Daiichi Sankyo Greece, leading strategic engagement with key opinion leaders and supporting clinical trial feasibility and study placement, including initiatives in antibody-drug conjugates. Guided by a strong commitment to patients, he focuses on ensuring that scientific innovation translates into real-world benefit — improving access to cutting-edge therapies and advancing standards of care.
Previously, he was Head of Medical for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta at Takeda, where he led Medical teams across Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, Rare Diseases, and Transplant/Infectious Diseases, championing initiatives that strengthened patient support and evidence-based decision-making. Earlier at Novartis, he held leadership roles including Medical Franchise Head Oncology Greece and Clinical Development Fellow in Global Development (U.S.), contributing to global late-phase programs and pivotal research in solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
Board-certified in Medical Oncology and holding a PhD in molecular oncology, Dimitrios has authored peer-reviewed publications.
