Born in 1985 in Athens, Byron Kokkalanis discovered his passion for windsurfing at the age of 12 and quickly excelled, winning first place at the World Youth Championships by the age of 14. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous distinctions and medals in 17 European and World Championships.
