Antonis Tsapatakis
Paralympian, World Swimming Champion
Competing primarily in the 100m breaststroke, SB4 category, Antonis Tsapatakis holds over 20 gold, silver, and bronze medals. He took part in the Paralympics in London 2012 and Rio 2016, achieving 4th place in the 100m. In 2015, he set a European record and secured a silver medal at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Swimming Championships in Glasgow. At the 2021 Paralympic Games in Japan, he won his first Paralympic medal with a 3rd place finish in the 100m SB4 breaststroke. Antonis Tsapatakis became World Champion in Madeira in 2022 and Manchester in 2023, securing gold in the 100m.
