Christos Apostolakos is a stage IV lung cancer patient, who loves physical exercise, contact with nature and encourages us to grow stronger through adversity. His personal story is a life lesson to all.
The author shares thoughts and emotions throughout his lung cancer journey. The book “Breath of Life” speaks about optimism, the will to Live and positive energy, as the means to stand up to cancer. His patient perspective offers new insights about overcoming the disease barriers and live a quality life.

A few words about the author
Christos Apostolakos was born in 1957 in Athens, studied sociology and literature in Athens and worked for many years in private education. Christos has been writing books and short stories for years and is also involved in meditation and holistic therapies. After his lung cancer diagnosis, he began writing about cancer. His work has been published online and on the FairLife L.C.C.’s website.
FairLife- Lung Cancer Care is the only non-profit organization, exclusively dedicated to lung cancer in Greece.
FairLife L.C.C.’s mission is to holistically support people impacted by lung cancer, aiming to improve their quality of life throughout their journey from diagnosis to treatment.
FairLife L.C.C. works:
