Karamihos Yorgos
Yorgos Karamihos was born and raised in Greece. He has acted in more than 40 theatre plays of a range repertoire including ancient Greek dramas, Shakespeare, A. Checkov, T. Williams, F.Vendekind and in over 40 feature films and TV series including The Durrells in Corfu, Bulletproof, Genius etc. He has also directed about 15 theatre plays in several venues in Athens, Greece, and Los Angeles. He was awarded as the best stage actor of Greece in 2008. He has translated several theatre plays and books on acting from English, French and Spanish into Greek. He is also known for supporting – materially and psychologically – charitable institutions such as Therapeutic Riding Association of Greece, The Smile Of The Child, several Animal Welfare Organizations etc. He speaks 5 languages. He teaches “Acting on stage and in front of the camera”, at several acting Schools in Greece, Belgium and the USA (Stella Adler Acting Academy since 2013) introducing his own technique (the K-Zoo technique) based on animal archetypes. He graduated the History and Philosophy Department of Ionian University and The Greek National Theatre Academy of Athens. In 2012 he received a Fulbright Scholarship and attended the fulltime program at Stella Adler Acting School in Los Angeles.
